Most people live from one obsessive goal to another. I mean one thinks I’ll be happy once I get that new car. That’s all I think about and I get whatever my latest life desire may be. Then Then I get it and it’s not enough. You need something else to make you happy, To complete this moment. It looks like everybody has one. I want something else and I won’t be happy until I get it. Suffering comes from desires.
If you find you think that way you can change it. Thought Stop process. And That’s where we are going now. You must become a master at recognizing the state of conciousness you are in. Let’s compare our moods to a barometer. If the needle is High you are in a high level of state of mind. These are pleasant and make it easier to make quick corrections in your mind. It the needle is low you may be locked in some depressive moments and need to recognize that so you don’t reek havoc to things and people around you.
The way I react when I detect I’m in a foul or unhappy mood. It works for anger too. Like road rage. Good comparison to what I do. At my first dtection of negative energy or thoughts appearing I STop by picturing a big stop sign on the movie theatre screen of my mind.
